The band tries to speak about matters that appeal to us in the songs we make and we agreed that HumaNoID would suit us as it is a coinage of "human" and "no ID", No Identity.

In our songs we try to talk about the loss of identity that human beings undergo in the consumer’s society in which we live... A "Humanoid" , among its various definitions, can be a fake human being, a machine designed to look like a human but which is in fact deprived of all feelings, thoughts and emotions…

And that’s what most human beings are turning into… Losing their humanity to financial bliss, fame, glory, all of which include the destruction of our environment and human lives…
